It devolved into jokes about school colors (VT, UVA, W&M) I don’t think anyone over the last page who suggested colors not on the palette was being serious.

It's weird to me that the park hasn't made any more PR moves with ground breaking. The average consumer has no idea what is going on right now.
I think the park wants it that way. They want to focus on Finnegan's and Cutback right now. I anticipate something to come soon
Nope. Their steel is manufacturered in Germany and shipped all around the world from there. B&M and the US Domestic manufacturers are the only companies that make their products in the US, and only B&M ships it out from the US.

It's not really that expensive for Intamin or the company that manufacturers their steel. The price typically falls onto the buyer, which is partly why Intamin is the most expensive manufacturer to contract for any project.
I believe that majority of fabrication is by Stakotra, a Slovakian company. I read somewhere that Stakotra bought a piece of Intamin, thus bring Intamin's sole supplier.
Stakotra is one of the manufacturers they contract through, but they're not the sole manufacturer due to the amount of demand Intamin can receive at certain times. They've also been a track manufacturer for Gerstlauer, Zierer, Zamperla, and even some Vekoma projects.
Sorry if I wasn't clear - referring to the wooden posts with metal screens on them right next to the railway, not the obvious construction fencing a little further away.
