Agree with pretty much all of that--the thoughts on the runs, that a path could cross the Rhine over a low-point (which I think would be cool), and there's arguably space for a flat or two in the middle/viewing garden. I'm making some assumptions on track height based on the placement of the footers relative the track, and that footers directly under the track may be lower sections.
I just don't see the flats/viewing garden happening unfortuantely, especially if such a viewing garden would be a stub without a path tie-in to Festa or San Marco. I really hope I'm wrong, and if someone sees something consistent with that possibility--definitely please post it.
I don't dispute the need for power. However, I just don't see that being draped across some piers in the Rhine. If crossing the Rhine, they'd bury it. Liked noted above, it would be very unsightly, especially here, "down River," and as noted in December, it would mean the Rhine cruises are done unless elevated on poles, which is also not happening at the world's most beautiful park. The cruises may be done at some point anyway, but I doubt they'd use the piers for electric even if not worrying about blocking the boats in.
Consensus seemed to doubt a pedestrian crossing given what's disclosed about the construction (I certainly agree). And that crossing
only makes sense
if Festhaus Park is going to be a hamlet near-term--an actual hamlet, not simply a coaster location like DF was and Madrid currently is,
and they have something worth getting to in Festa Field other than Madrid. They don't actually need a crossing to throw a couple of flats in the middle, assuming they can get to them from the Italian side.
If not a bridge or utility crossing, other than themeing, what else could they be?
