General Information:

"Project Drachen Spire," is a community-generated identifier for the Intamin-made, multi-launch, shuttle giga coaster that was originally slated to open at Busch Gardens Williamsburg in 2021. The attraction is planned to utilize the currently-vacant land behind Verbolten, Festhaus Park—the former home of Drachen Fire.

The coaster's main layout—as leaked before the addition was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic—featured two launches, two spikes (one spiral, one vertical-ish), and a couple of banked turns. Drachen Spire was designed to run two trains by means of a pair of switch tracks connecting the primary, shuttle portion of the layout to the station platform.

Keep in mind elevation of looking from and anything that might fall under the tree line. That has a major effect on the description.
Good point, and I haven't attempted to Google Earth from the pool area or wherever in Kingsmill and figure out what's above the trees... but it's still pretty fat lattice work until nearly the top.

I think this might be a good time to revisit the BoS meeting.

Thanks--I couldn't find the original BoS meeting and when I searched for the quotes, I found multiple references attributing "knife-like/edge" to the BoS meeting, but not the full context. So I certainly don't think this is like a "knife's edge," but compared to a "brick wall," sure, definitely more like a knife than a wall. ?

Doesn't mean that the ride won't be something really different and interesting which it is. I get that this is probably something that the park wouldn't have built unless they got a good deal on it. That doesn't mean that this won't be exciting, fun and weird.

Also BOGO is not entirely accurate. Intamin is not building this for free. I have it one good authority that BGW was making two separate payments to them for rides(not sure if they are still paying for Pantheon). This is really just a bundled price where the price for both was reduced if BGW bought both.
I agree with you, UOR has one Intamin & is getting another Intamin coaster in 2021. They got what they want from Intamin as a bundle deal. Plus you are so right with Intamin is not building any of the Intamin being build for free especially if this is also a bundle deal. If they offer a good deal for UNI & BGW , they are gonna jump on that deal to bring new and unique one of a kind coasters for both companies, and for themselves. Also, UNI was making 2 payments to Intamin as well.

I will say I enjoy talking to some people at Intamin, they are very nice. And I for one am Not a Intamin fan, but with what they are doing now, and Intamin rides I have gotten to ride, I am glad BGW is working with them again, same for UNI because they are some great rides, and my favorite is TARON.

Fun fact: It was behind the scenes collaboration between Taylor and I that made that happen.

I've been trying really hard to loop in other responsibile parties with markets outside of BGWFans' core audience lately. Ensuring other content producers understand all the information involved goes a long way to decreasing the spread of misinformation throughout the community.
