General Information:

"Project Drachen Spire," is a community-generated identifier for the Intamin-made, multi-launch, shuttle giga coaster that was originally slated to open at Busch Gardens Williamsburg in 2021. The attraction is planned to utilize the currently-vacant land behind Verbolten, Festhaus Park—the former home of Drachen Fire.

The coaster's main layout—as leaked before the addition was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic—featured two launches, two spikes (one spiral, one vertical-ish), and a couple of banked turns. Drachen Spire was designed to run two trains by means of a pair of switch tracks connecting the primary, shuttle portion of the layout to the station platform.

But if it's true that the track turns out of the station, you need to take out the amount of distance the turn takes to where the launch/lift can occur.
On my map, I did compensate. Distance is about 470ft. So the incline could be a lot less. Or it's probably enough distance to do a Red Force type launch with some sort of stall at the top to be able to do the rest of the circuit.

I'm not sure if a cable lift could realistically be used when starting outside of a station unless the station is incredibly efficient or there's enough track in between to allow stacking.

I really like the idea of a launched lift - not necessarily a fast launch but one that can mimic the sensations of a traditional lift minus the clank of the anti-rollback devices.

Something like this would allow for creative freedom in the layout given the angle of the station to the high point, and also not relegate the ride to being a one-trick pony.
I don’t follow

The site is getting a lot of credit lately, especially with WYdaily! I wonder if viewership has increased much since the exposure?

Looking at layout possibilities. If we're thinking about a standard lift Hill. Does the track have to go right into the lift Hill toward the highest point. Could it loop around and go up at a different angle or location?View attachment 17650

So just doing a very rough analysis, I can imagine this layout as follows: Drop, small version of the SV style first hill, massive camelback, upward bank, wave turn, camelback, overbank into a MCBR, stengel/bank, bunny hill sequence (maybe a triple down even), s-curves, helix, final airtime sequence.

You are pretty much spot-on. LOL what I was attempting to do was to use the outside of the area where all the soil tests were completed. Use a standard lift and still have a decent layout. May draw it and other variations up sometime tomorrow or this weekend. A layout like this is very much my hope and dream for this coaster. While I would ride a launched AKA Red Force type coaster. I would much rather prefer a standard lift and layout with actual elements to it.

The leaked plans showed the coaster exiting and turning to the left. It is possible that the train could come out and go back along the station for a bit. That seems unlikely because if that were the case then you could just have the train come out on the other side.

What's the likelihood there are still footers and piles and what-not underground from Drachenfire's build? The soil samples seem to be indicated in areas outside of Drachenfire's footprint. Perhaps there is need to build around the area, for that reason.

Someone mentioned the curve out of the station- shown in the leaked plans- as possibly being simply the maintenance switch track. I find that plausible.

The leaked station plan had two paths for the track exiting. There were solid lines that went out straight and dotted lines that curved left. I assumed (although it's unusual) that the dotted were to a maintenance shed.

Even though I drew up an abbreviated giga and like @cdchen83's effort, I'm not convinced we're getting a "traditional" giga. I don't see a one trick pony like Red Force either. I think it'll be something in between...a launch with a few elements after the drop.
