General Information:

"Project Drachen Spire," is a community-generated identifier for the Intamin-made, multi-launch, shuttle giga coaster that was originally slated to open at Busch Gardens Williamsburg in 2021. The attraction is planned to utilize the currently-vacant land behind Verbolten, Festhaus Park—the former home of Drachen Fire.

The coaster's main layout—as leaked before the addition was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic—featured two launches, two spikes (one spiral, one vertical-ish), and a couple of banked turns. Drachen Spire was designed to run two trains by means of a pair of switch tracks connecting the primary, shuttle portion of the layout to the station platform.

If this is going to be the tallest ride in the park we need larger deer. Need to add some mule deer and elk also. Heck, could a moose survive in this heat?

The issue with that is if they use animals that aren't native to the area, it's going to raise suspicion. I would imagine deer are the largest animal they can use that isn't a predator that would freak people out.

Maybe a crazy mouse type coaster. It would be called Crazy Deer. The car would be a John deer tractor going around the tractor. ?

Ok... Now we know 2020 is Pantheon. All we'll see now are train videos, semis carrying bent pipe and trees hanging from cranes.

@Zachary ...We gotta get some things happening on this thread! Leaks, Dippin' Dot rumors, whatever.....
We need to kick it up a notch!

I personally thought that the idea that it might be a B&M hyper giga was stupid given that we have Apollo so close. That said this really isn't any closer then Intimidator is to Fury at Carowinds and the closeness didn't appear to hurt either ride when I visited. They also both had their own distinct feel to them and didn't feel like as big and small version of the same ride. So yes I would be highly in favor and pleased if that is what this ends up being.

Does anyone know if it's actually going to be a coaster of any sort? While that seems like the most obvious choice based on statements made during the JCC approval process, is there any proof that rules out other rides or attractions?

Completely circumstantial.

But the best evidence we have is that the location of the identified highest point would be a half mile walk from the nearest pathway.

So if it's not a coaster, then they'd need to build something (new Hamlet?) to make it worth people's time to walk that far. And most of the indications we've got so far is that Busch gardens doesn't plan on being in the new Hamlet business in the foreseeable.
