General Information:

"Project Drachen Spire," is a community-generated identifier for the Intamin-made, multi-launch, shuttle giga coaster that was originally slated to open at Busch Gardens Williamsburg in 2021. The attraction is planned to utilize the currently-vacant land behind Verbolten, Festhaus Park—the former home of Drachen Fire.

The coaster's main layout—as leaked before the addition was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic—featured two launches, two spikes (one spiral, one vertical-ish), and a couple of banked turns. Drachen Spire was designed to run two trains by means of a pair of switch tracks connecting the primary, shuttle portion of the layout to the station platform.

@cb0355 The station is built a bit below grade but the track is level with adjacent terrain. Here's an aerial and you can see the old Drachen Fire entrance path. DF used to pass under it to the lift. Screenshot_20200122-162410_Earth.jpg
This side the track would be level with the bottom of the "window sill". You can see how the land slopes down.

So, going the long way around...the track is level everywhere.

Obviously that's the vertical spiral portion. Using Mach tower for scale it has to go a bit further up out of frame.

Man, how cool would it be if on the breaking there were fins to hold you on the reverse spike, and you got to see the tracks switch before it releases you into the station?

It's awesome that the other side of the park will have 3 coasters to take pictures of. Alongside the side that people took pictures of for a long time.

Kind of blends in with tree and forest colors, though once it pokes up above the canopy the blending stops.

However, simple trig makes it appear smaller/shorter the further away you are from it - maybe a small bump on the treeline if far enough away.

Dark Forest theme confirmed!

I am excited about this ride...looking forward to something back in Festhaus Park. This ride, while not everyone’s cup of tea, will be a good investment in the long run. The features that we believe are to be included will be eaten up by the general public and has a small footprint but big punch. The colors, layout and location really have me pondering what the concept will be. I must admit both Invadr and Pantheon have grown on me with how the park had ingratiated them into their respective hamlets. Will this be a throwback to Drachen Fire and be called Drachen Spire/Spyre( I hope ?) or something more generic , Dragon Flight, Dragon Tower, ; or is this totally different? The palette looks very “dragony” , Forest like, water? A storm ⛈ was mentioned by someone.
