With the exciting news that work on Grain & Grill has resumed, I noticed some potentially less-exciting news on the Coconut Shores
webpage. Any reference to the new food truck dining concept, Beach Street, has been removed from the page, despite previously being prominently featured on it. Also, the Coconut Shores banner on the park's homepage, which used to say "Three Exciting Additions Coming to Soak City" now just says "Exciting Additions Coming to Soak City," without the "three" (the three additions being Lighthouse Landing, Sand Dune Lagoon, and Beach Street).
What's bizarre to me, though, is that we know the park already owns the new food trucks and has them on site - they were used as tasting booths during Taste of the Season, complete with obvious Coconut Shores branding. It's beyond me why the park would go through the effort of scrubbing any reference to a dining concept that's largely been already paid for.
