I've said this before, but with the area there now opened up, I'd love to see BGW put a trail on the opposite side of the ride, leading over to the bottom of LNM. It would be an easier path for guests who have difficulty with the steepness of the path connecting Scotland to Germany and would open up cool new perspectives of rides such as Alpengeist and Griffon. Being under the train trestle would be pretty cool, as well.

You have the issue of the pipeline which runs parallel to the train in that area. There are VERY strict rules as to what can be built over or even near it. You also have the issue the area between Nessie and the Rhine is prone to flooding if you look at it from the train of the Ireland bridge you can an emergency water pump that they keep there to prevent there from being to much in the area a pathway through there would only make this issue worse.

Yeah... I really hope this ride will be worth that clear cutting.

I've had a few runs on Skyhawk (Cedar Point) and that's really enjoyable. F'sF is only 60% of the size of Skyhawk though so I'm not sure how that will pan out. I doubt BGW will clear that much and not work to plant something around it, especially when the station platform will be quite bare on it's own....

Can someone familiar with construction explain why so many trees beyond the ride area had to be removed? I get that equipment has to be moved into place, but it looks like they removed a lot more trees than they had to.
