You have the issue of the pipeline which runs parallel to the train in that area. There are VERY strict rules as to what can be built over or even near it. You also have the issue the area between Nessie and the Rhine is prone to flooding if you look at it from the train of the Ireland bridge you can an emergency water pump that they keep there to prevent there from being to much in the area a pathway through there would only make this issue worse.I've said this before, but with the area there now opened up, I'd love to see BGW put a trail on the opposite side of the ride, leading over to the bottom of LNM. It would be an easier path for guests who have difficulty with the steepness of the path connecting Scotland to Germany and would open up cool new perspectives of rides such as Alpengeist and Griffon. Being under the train trestle would be pretty cool, as well.
Yeah... I really hope this ride will be worth that clear cutting.
