Great new photos here:

Glad to see some non-standard paint work going onto the base of the structure.
Yes, its looks nice. But it brings up the question, they posted the very top part as being shiny silver a while back and that it had been delivered. But then they show the base portion being themed but still in Utah? I dont mean that its in Utah right now but that it was painted there. Im sure those photos are not recent.

Based on the mockups that we have of the competed ride the top will be the silver and the base is a brick pattern like was being painted on. So it does look like all the painting is happening in Utah. As far as when the pictures were taken you could very well be correct that all the pieces are already here but it seems that they would have posted pictures of them arriving like with the top

Now see I think that top section looks like a tan or some light shade of brown in the artist rendering. I just went back and looked at the top piece pictured from a while back and it does in fact look like that same tan color. Guess it never was silver or meant to be.

You are right it does have a tannish shade to it. Whatever color it is the piece that came definitely matches the rendering

That could be the official opening date but the ride could be soft open well before then. The only attraction in recent years (since Griffon anyhow) that I havent had many rides on before it was open to the public was Mach Tower.

So, the park would delay opening a new attraction, because they gave Marketing a conservative estimate for the completion date?
Those dates are typically decided based on when the manufacturer will be finished building and turns the ride over to the park. I would be shocked to see it opening before the beginning of May. If they were still unsure of the time frame they would still be saying spring. The change to May happened in the last couple weeks.

My friend was at the park last weekend for training told me that the walls are backup blocking the ride from view. Apparently they were only taken down because they were redoing the boards on the bridge. From what he could see it appeared that they were working on on the deck portion of the ride platform and stuff in the ravine.

So as or right now I can confirm that the wall is back up at the bridge and there is another smaller wall just before the bridge to mask the view. There does appear to be at least one of the support structures sitting on the deck but not yet verticle. It looks like to me the one the park previously posted a photo having theming painted on supposedly at the factory. Crews are working but I didnt see a crane.
