Fences are up! Pics coming shortly.

That's right! But that won't stifle everyone's view of the construction site. Why? Because the park put cutouts along the fence for all of our construction-viewing needs! I have to say, I didn't think the park's new everything out in the open marketing strategy would go this far, but it certainly is awesome!

I love how they put the holes in the walls, unlike Seaworld Orlando where you got walls towering over you with no chance of getting a good view of contruction :p

Just a quick comment not to derail the thread. But Sea World has hole in the boards as well. Although they were much smaller and not designed as such. Just 2in holes that are where the knots in the wood would be.

Needless to say, it's nice to see the park do this. I hope they keep the train view fairly unobstructed as well like in Tampa.

They drilled the holes for the wiring of they're christmas decoration.
They put snow flakes that lit up on the wall. I cant say i didnt try to allign my phones camera lense with the hole though :) I hope that all thr SEAS follow what BGW is doing though.
As a matter of fact, heres the pictures, didnt really give me much of a view though.

This looks like a great ride.

If it was built any bigger, chances are Kingsmill would shoot it down in a heartbeat.

Roller coasters don't need fancy elements to be great. Look at rides like Loch Ness or Rebel Yell. They don't do anything special but they're still huge crowd-pleasers 40 years later.

I'm pretty excited BGW finally has a wooden coaster.

BGT has a fairly large fence surrounding the train tracks at the Cobra's Curse site, actually...

If you look in the CC thread, you'll notice that it hasn't stopped me. ;-D

I'm pretty sure Nessie's interlocking loops are "fancy elements."

I'm pretty sure it's speed, height, and drop were "fancy elements," when it was built. Frankly I would consider it lasting iconic status fairly, "fancy."

Saturday I saw blue ribbons around two of the trees just before the entrance to Caribou Station. What does blue mean, and does this relate to InvadR's construction?

The ribbons are used to either mark trees that stay or trees that get cut down. I think they might be cutting those down to open up the area for the increased traffic.

I should also note that while at BGT this weekend I checked up on Gwazi. I didn't have any magnification on me but it looked like the lift motor could have been removed by now. It was honestly hard to tell though from where I could see.
