halfabee said:Please tell me, jornor, that "that guy has to prove a negative" is not actually your stance on the unmistakable, deliberate, stylized misspelling of a word that is actually documented to exist.
For lack of a sarcastic "Yeah, Thanks for That" button in this forum: I will never forget the day I got into my time machine and discovered that "Verbolten" was once a valid conjugation of a real word in low German that was sadly lost to time and the Internet... thereby invalidating the argument of the person who had the sensible temerity to call out "Verbolten" as not an actual German word with any record of existing before 2012. I really stuck it to that guy!

And now I'm gonna be a pessimist... That ride looks totally unremarkable. It's a woodie that I'd expect to see in the late 90's or the early 2000's. Goldrusher at CGA is a very recent GCI woodie regarded to be pretty good that... isn't. It's fine. It's okay. This ride has a pretty dull layout, no unique elements (so far at least), and a short duration. I get that Busch definitely needs a woodie and it's cool that they're getting one, I just wanted it to be "special". Anyways... Color me pretty unenthused about this ride. Until we learn something about it that's unique or crazy, this ride is just "fine".
jornor said:...it could very well be just a purposeful misspelling.
I just have never seen Busch do anything like that, that's why I've been thrown off I guess.

All I'm saying is that each of their coasters does something unique. Griffon is a dive coaster (which used to be super rare). Alpie is a super tall, massive invert. LNM has interlocking loops. Verbolten has a drop track. Apollo's is world class. This woodie is just... I dunno guys. It feels very "any medium-sized park" to me. Interaction with Le Scoot? Um. Cool. Like going over it or under it? Meh. Sigh. We shall see, but I'm depressed after seeing Fur Dozy's mockup (WHICH WAS REALLY WELL DONE GOOD JOB).
As for the name Verbolten? I kind of love.
Okay guys. Put me on the stake. Set me on fire.
