RE: Project 2017

Well of course it has been in the works for more than a month. The area that they have to work with is the only constant here though. I'm only suggesting that what they put in the space they have, MAY have been changed.

I'll be more specific - great coasters has been involved on this project for much longer than one month.

RE: Project 2017

good job you all are awesome! But my question is are we expecting this to be a KIDDIE RIDE???????

RE: Project 2017

Well, certainly not a kiddie ride by any means. Rather, it would be an intermediate coaster between Grover and Verbolten. If I'm reading the general consensus correctly, I believe that idea has to do with the size of the area being used for this coaster and the maximum height of 60 feet. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

RE: Project 2017

2017 may be the most important year for Busch since the opening of Apollo's Chariot. It's something they've never attempted, from a company that is renowned for some excellent thrills. Just imagine: LeScoot nestled against a new Woodie with terrain involvement and proper thematic elements.

It's a good time to be alive in the BGW world! Can't wait to hear more tomorrow.

PS. I no longer care about Cobra's Curse a single bit.

There are threads for both Pass Member Preview Day and meet-ups at PMPD for those discussions. Please restrict discussion here to Project 2017.

I'm for Silver Strike too. Or Woods McGoods. I'm not particular, just excited we're getting this.

RE: Project 2017

I'm under the impression that the park registers a name (or multiple names) before the ride opens so as to prevent people like us guessing the name in advance. It's part of the big reveal. I remember Verbolten was an example of such.

Of course since this project has been presented in a different way from the beginning perhaps this really is the name of the ride.

Yea but look at the date, they have trademarked this since May of last year. Part of me wonders if no matter what was planned Silver Strike was going to be the name.
