The weather for pass member day at the moment is atrocious. It is a 90% chance of rain with rainfall amounts up to a quarter on an inch.

A picture on Kings Dominions Facebook page. I love the sign, it looks great.

I watched some testing of the ride yesterday afternoon. They were focused on the seat ring with (the plastic water humanoids, with disabilities, in some of the seats). I think they were testing the seat harnesses. At one point, all the seat backs were laying on the load platform and the entrance side grassy area.

They were spinning the seat ring at various speeds. Let me tell you that the manufacturer can get that large seating area to spin at some pretty high RPM's! Also, they had the seat ring spinning in both a clockwise and counterclockwise direction.

Course, this was just in testing mode. It could be they were creating centrifugal force to test the harnesses with (the plastic water humanoids, with disabilities, in some of the seats).

Should be interesting to see what type of ride cycle KD gets programmed for Delerium as opposed to the version at Canada's Wonderland.

There's now grass where that building is supposed to be going next to the Peanuts Showplace. You can also see the irrigation watering it on the live cam.

This further confirms my suspicion that we will see a Haunt building in the space.

Well, to be fair, the plans Zachary revealed at the beginning of the thread did label the building as "proposed". At least the proposed ride came to fruition.

Haunt buildings constructed during the operating season for many of the Cedar Fair parks usually start in early to mid-June. So it might be land for a future Haunt building; but, I would think KD would put up a 6-8 foot privacy fence around that area for that purpose. If you are going to build a structure 3 1/2 months into the season, why lay down all that expensive sod only to be yanked up in that short period of time. Plus, the privacy fence would keep folks away from the building structure during construction and afterwards, if its purpose is only for Haunt/storage.

There are other possibilities that could have impacted the building from being constructed on that site. The CF/KD management could have used the 2016 money budgeted for that building for other capital improvement projects; They decided to build the structure somewhere else; they went over their 2016 capital improvement budget and the building construction was cut.

Maybe the land is now going to be used for something else in the future.

Given that all that sod is being laid down over that large area, it might be that the land there will lie "fallow" for a couple seasons.

Plus, everyone has more important things to fret about for 2016. Like will we see any land prep work for a potential 2017 coaster start before the end of June. (Yea, I probably just re-opened a 50 gallon drum of worms).

I watched one of the test runs tonight. It seems like the ride will last around 1 minute 20 seconds. The ride hits its max height twice. Looks like a ton of fun.

So, we are here at Delirium Media Day. We will be posting to Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook throughout the day. We will let everyone know about the ride and possibly some special news from Chef Paul, as well.

Just rode Delirium on her maiden voyage.  The forces are unusual, as you would expect from a frisbee.  It is a fun new addition to CAG.

How does the length of the ride feel while riding?
