They're just waiting for Apollo to turn completely white, so they don't clash as bad.

I'd take an Apollo paint job, and renovations such new gen trains over this thing any day.

.....im still going to ride it though..

No new gen trains for the B&M Hypers, they've been using the same design since 1999. Stadium-style seating however would require a redesign of their station and retrofitting of all 4400 feet of track for the new trains, just look at what's happening for Rougarou @ Cedar Point.

I really like the way the blue reflects the sunset, but other than that this coaster still isn't giving me any warm and fuzzy feelings.

So in My opinion of the topic, one major thing we have to look forward to is that the lacework for atleast one tower will be covered by the banners hanging down.  Depending on what colors they choose to use could be a major factor of the overall appereance of this ride.  (good or bad) But in my opinion if they really are going though budget cuts they could have just put this where the old petting zoo near the fiesta train station is(Since the animals are leaving), that way it would overlook DaVinchi's Garden and not look so damn packed.

Btw Im Andrew and this is my first post!

I remember when you built a new ride in RCT2, park guests would sometimes just stand there watching it and think "Wow! A new ride being built!" I always thought it was stupid because in real life, there would be an announcement. I just realized that that's exactly whats happening at BGW right now. Guys, I pretty sure management thinks they're playing RCT2 and just chose to build one of the rides already in the game.

Tempesto rising.

Since I didn't have time to post this yesterday, here's the Friday update. Not sure whether or not the crew was working this weekend, but the launch tower is quickly being built. It wouldn't surprise me to see both towers completely done by Christmas at the rate they're going.

The ride itself looks great. The colors are bright so they draw attention to it. I don't mind the ride sitting close to Apollo since other parks can stick coasters next to each other and on top of each other with no complaints.

Apollo looks ugly now. The park really needs to repaint the thing.

So just out of curiosity, when do you guys think they will finish the physical structural construction of the ride itself? Excluding the station and what not.

I am being an armchair engineer here, but looking at the video above and the pics posted, I think they will be testing with water dummies in February. The 3 car train will need to be put through its paces and may bight them in the ass.
This is all speculation but playing a bet is fun!

Testing the coaster with a three car train will practically be like testing a brand new custom coaster.(first time that perspective has been brought up:p) Launch speeds will need a lot of adjustments, and the fact that it's a shuttle coaster will make the adjustments all the more painful.

Surely they have calculated the desired settings to get the ride performing the way it should. Not saying adjustments won't be necessary during the initial testing phase, but the on site engineers should have a good idea. Last thing BGW wants is another coaster to valley during a test run...

Saddling happens even with "desired settings", especially with Premiers. Chiller saddled so many times that the maintenance crews were able to evacuate the ride, remove the train from its position, and replace the train in the maintenance bay within a few hours and have it rerunning the next day (provided the LIMs wanted to fire).

Premier also has failsafes on their other launch coasters where if the trains aren't at the proper speeds the launch will be aborted. So if the train isn't going the right speed through the first two launches it should abort and reset itself so that it could do it again, sorta like how Kingda Ka and TTD deal with a rollback.

Just because it travels backwards through the station doesn't make it a shuttle coaster. This ride has a 'full circuit' track layout. I agree with your other statements though :)

Hey guys! I've been taking a little break from the forums, but I'm glad to be back now. Right now, I want to share a picture I took yesterday. I actually had a member of my party lift me up by my ankles so I could reach over the construction wall and nab a photo (whilst dodging security, of course). So, here you go, a look at what's going on behind the walls of Tempesto. Nothing too fancy is going on yet, but it's worth a look nonetheless.

When we got to the park around 3 today the crane was up and installing pieces. I could only get a distant view, but it was cry tall!
