Just thought I would point this out...from the Daily Press 12/30/2013.

"Busch Gardens will debut a new attraction in 2014 in the Festa Italia section of the park. At this point the only details are that it will be located adjacent to Apollo's Chariot and that the park has requested permission for a structure that will rise 242 feet above sea level. Speculation has centered on two possibilities — a new roller coaster, or a full-scale recreation of the Roman Senate, with hourly re-enactments of the vicious assassination of Julius Caesar."

WTF?? That has to be a joke, right?

Speaking of the collapse of ancient empires...

Watch this "Pasta Coaster" be the ultimate diversion and behind Scott's back comes an awesome creation that was hidden so well from any Fanbase.... Only if this was true.

You saw it here first. Tempesto construction. They were sticking that track piece into the back tower. I'll head to the park again today to get more construction shots.

The ride actually looks pretty good.

Although it is the "off the shelf ride from hell" as I like to call it, it's hard to ignore this rides persence. It's here to stay. Me personally, I think to looks cool...not particularly nice, but hey not much can be done anymore...
I'll be in the park today as well, hopefully I'll be able to snag some nice shots also.

Blocks my view of my favorite coaster walking into festa. It will be interesting to watch while on the lift. I wonder if will be close enough for the kiddos to spit on? Just joking. It's a pretty knarly looking flat.

Festa doesn't open until 4? Anyone know if this has to do with construction? There's a security guard at the bridge....didn't seem like he enjoyed me pointing my phone at Tempesto....Of course I wasn't taking pictures;)

EDIT: Just got off Davinci's Cradle (btw provides a great view of the site)...workers on the first tower...

Okay last post for the evening, the girlfriend is tired of me being on my phone...it's for a good cause right?
Talked to a few team members. Summery was "Festa isn't open until 4 due to construction, large queue house, increased staffing, announcement most likely in the spring, and potentially no quick queue" uh oh..
