They had a special upcharge QQ for Bolt, when it first opened. Hopefully they will do that for the Pasta Flat, as well.

From Bolt's queue last night....love the views you can get during the winter months.
QQ will be eventually included in this coaster much like it was included in Bolt later in the season. The plans clearly show some sort of QQ entrance mixed with the disability entrance.

I spoke with several team members last evening and the woman outside Festa before it opened put it the best "Everyone knows something is there, no point in lying, you guys aren't blind." She also said her supervisors were telling staff to refer to it as "landscaping work." Another team member outside the Frosty photo op I spoke with told me he was aware of the "blogs online" leaking plans, and he even refered me to Youtube and search Superman: Ultimate Flight "not the flying one" he added.
So people are clearly aware of this coaster's presence (some more than others) but, until it's announced (which will most likely be at a pass members appreciation event in the spring according to the woman outside Festa) nothing is official.
Landscaping work? Technically, I guess, if you go off the Wikipedia page for it.
That thing is massive. I usually stand by the park through good and bad, but I'm starting to rethink the idea of this coaster...
The best view of Apollo's Chariot is going to be from the parking lot soon.
The spatial difference of this coaster and AC was one of my smaller worries about this coaster, but seeing it actually built, it just looks unnaturally close. Most Six Flags parks don't even pack coasters in this tight. The un-matching colors, and frankly ugly "lattice-like structure" will ruin the skyline that was always so prominent when driving into the park, I'm afraid.
They are awfully close to each other and therefore they will detract from each other. It just looks terrible. It's more like a state fair carnival. An ugly jumbled mess.

It's not my favorite mix of coasters, but I must say I am surprised that it is looking as good as it is. There's a sort of mechanical beauty to coasters, and for an off the shelf ride this was a good choice.

They're just waiting for Apollo to turn completely white, so they don't clash as bad.
