If you saw it during construction you'd have seen lots of piles driven into the ground below those footers. (i'm assuming we're talking about the last turn of the ride.)

So I totally missed this, but according to ScreamScape...

An animated video showing off the new Zombie Ride coaster (Premier Rides) coming to Bosque Magico in 2015 has been added below. While the layout is exactly the same as Superman at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Bosque Magico is promising that their version of the ride will feature a double ride cycle through the layout… so your ride will be twice as long as expected.

So the Mexican Clone is getting two full circuits. I am curious if Diavolo will have two full circuits or just one.

It doesn't appear that they need all that dirt.

Honestly this is a really small area, I don't think the tree removal is a big deal. Festa is already shadeless and hot anyways.

Also, did you hear Scott Gasparich in that video? Love that guy!

Festa is not shadeless. There are plenty of trees to be had. It's actually one of the most shady areas of the park, after the Oktoberfest renovations.

Particularly the La Cucina/Roman Rapids area doesn't have much shade. Maybe eliminating all the shade near apollo will make the area more cohesive.

No, it has shade there too. The Three-point game area is about the only area with no shade to be found.
