When I got in line for Tempesto today, I was handed a card by a manager with the time I received it. And he told to hand it to a ride operator before I got on, I thought that was interesting enough to share.
I have had that happen a few times when I have been at Disney World. If I am not mistaken, I think they are trying to collect stats for the wait times
Seems like a good way to calibrate the wait times clock to me.
I've never seen Carl Lum more uncomfortable in my entire life. Bravo to CoasterForce for asking the tough questions, but this interview is almost painful to watch.
Oh, how I hate excuses. I hope he never uses the words innovative or unique in reference to anything except the coaster trains, because the ride experience was unique about 4 clones ago, now it's been been mirrored 3 different times. Nothing is unique or innovative in terms of ride experience on this thing. Not in terms to the rest of the coasters in the park, or the rest of the coaster world. It just isn't.

He should have questioned those useless "comfort collars" that only make the already terrible capacity issue even worse
After waiting for Tempesto... I thought the line moved faster than anticipated. Probably something to do with the fact that they have 6 people checking harnesses...
Park does that at every major ride opening to help determine how long the lines are from certain points in the line (usually the end of the line at the entrance).

I made my first 2015 trip to BGW today. As soon as I got there, I made a beeline to Tempesto. The wait time was an hour and this was about 10:40am. I stuck it out in line. Boy do I wish I could get that hour back. The ride was fun but not worth an hour wait imo. I don't know what the official ride time is but felt like 45 seconds. I will only ride it again if their is a very short to no line.
Went to the park yesterday with the intention of getting video of the coaster. Despite the late opening I was still able to get a ride with only about a 20 minute wait and acquire all the footage I wanted. Enjoy-
