Or like me and just be tossed around a bit. There is a good pop of negative Gs in the front row at the top of the first tower, but other than that, I just feel like I'm being shaken around. That doesn't equate to intense for me- just sorta boring.
I'm not anti-Tempesto, but after riding the park's other coaster's since then, I'm really not sure what Tempesto has to offer. If I wanted that pop of air, I'd ride Apollo which does it much better over and over again. If I wanted intensity, I'd ride Alpie which is practically ten times longer and ten times more intense.
Tempesto just feels pointless to me. My ride experience can basically be summed up by the following thought that goes through my mind when I'm on it: "I'd litterally rather be on anything else in this park right now."
Tempesto is a mediocre, boring ride in the middle of one of the greatest coaster collections in the country. I just don't feel like I can justify spending time to ride it with Apollo, Alpie, Loch Ness, Griffon, and Verbolten next door. :-/
All that said, you know how Tempesto can differentiate itself? By removing those freakin' "comfort collars." Being the only coaster in the park to invert with a lap bar is good enough for me. I seriously think I'd have a totally different ride experience and hence, opinion of Tempesto, if those stupid floppy restraints didn't exist.
