I took pictures of the coaster in plain sight from the pathways and didn't get into trouble. It wasn't really uncommon for people to get pics from under the photo op or by the spinning rides either.
Do we really need to go over this whole taking pictures thing again? Just stop, just because you weren't stopped doesn't mean somebody else wasn't. (Example: Luke)
Is it really necessary to bring up Luke's situation every time someone gets on the topic of taking pictures of the ride? Yes, we all know he had some issues taking pictures of the ride. He was treated unfairly, but let's move on.

I'm sorry but that sounds incredibly callous to me.
I keep bringing it up, because it is relevant and provides evidence against the theory that the park is somehow attempting a whisper campaign about the ride.

Considering that was the point of the original post, was that somebody was stopped, and we know Luke was. However, it's not about Luke's pictures, its more about the "Well I didn't get in trouble, therefore it's not a big deal." mentality.
That needs to stop. I feel like every time something comes up on here from a personal experience, all of a sudden it's a battle of "Well I had a 100% different experience. Therefore your experience is invalid." It happens a lot in this thread with the subject of taking pictures of the coaster, and it happens a lot with people dealing with the park's site. Frankly, it's annoying to constantly read these sort of things.
(And this is just restricted to conversations like this. Opinions on shows and rides are completely different. Besides, we don't know if more people were threatened with a ban other than Luke. There might be more that we just don't know about. Either way, the fact that he was threatened to begin with is a problem.)

I'm 50-50 on going back to BGW this year after taking 2014 off. Then I think about Luke's photo op debacle and it really makes me question why I would give my money to such a shitty company. The funny thing is, I love premier rides so despite not being wow'd by Tempesto I still want to ride it. But I'm not into rewarding companies who behave badly.
So yeah, I'm not over it and I don't think it's anyones place to tell others to move on.
