RE: Who will make the "Multi-Launch Coaster" for 2012

If the pile of dirt has anything to do with Der Katipult, why would it be behind Der Autobahn?:-/

Easier place to store it and if they use it for the 2012 project then its right there.

RE: Who will make the "Multi-Launch Coaster" for 2012

Kind of off topic but I don't know if anyone noticed but there is just a huge round pit now where Der Katerpult used to be. It looks about 8-10 feet deep so far.

RE: Who will make the "Multi-Launch Coaster" for 2012

^The scrambler type rides have a pretty deep pit under them for foundation, sort of like a carousel.

RE: Who will make the "Multi-Launch Coaster" for 2012

^Best explanation would be the foundation for the tower is pretty deep in the ground. They then have all the dirt from the hole and need a place to put it. The construction site is too small to have the pile of dirt on location so they throw it in the nearest empty space which just happens to be where BBW was. No way would they start the construction for the coaster just yet. The permits for this ride JUST went through.

RE: Who will make the "Multi-Launch Coaster" for 2012

Just searching around about Mach Tower but instead came up to a european site that, when translated, says in the last paragraph:

"And the big theme parks in the United States are again at the start: Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will open in spring 2011 Cheetah Hunt, a 1350 meter long Out & Back catapult roller coaster from Intamin three LSM routes, airtime hills, fast changes of direction and a inversion element. 2012, the sister park Busch Gardens Williamsburg follows with another LSM Coaster on the hilly grounds of the former Arrow Suspended Coaster Big Bad Wolf, also with multiple-launch stages. The roller coaster is coming from a German manufacturer."

This would make sense because of the intense theming to be expected from the waivers......

Blue Fire please???????????? :D:p:):blush::angel:;):rolleyes::shy:

RE: Who will make the "Multi-Launch Coaster" for 2012

you can find all that info here on the site. It's just that here we post whether it has been confirmed or not. I actually find this to be a fairly possible rumor, more on that soon though...

RE: Who will make the "Multi-Launch Coaster" for 2012

You guys ever think we come up with some rumor here, then another website sees the rumor here and states that there is a rumor that X is happening, then we find that website as confirmation?

/runonsentence

RE: Who will make the "Multi-Launch Coaster" for 2012

This gives a nice overview of the Planning Commission's review of the plan so far, and has some new info.

RE: Who will make the "Multi-Launch Coaster" for 2012

Well we learned something new with that. Seems like most of this ride will apparently be indoors but at the same time the building itself will not be taller than the Festhaus....interesting......

RE: Who will make the "Multi-Launch Coaster" for 2012

Also this themed bridge is going to be not much higher than the Big Bad Wolf's highest point. I'm really curious as to what this themed bridge is going to be. I'm still hoping for a dive to the river and some forest/terrain coaster element. Sounds like they are going to be be building a big building over that whole area though. :-/

RE: Who will make the "Multi-Launch Coaster" for 2012

Maybe they are going to do something like Thirteen at Alton Towers, not the part where you have to be 16 or older to ride and you have to sign a waivor, but the drop section on the coaster.

RE: Who will make the "Multi-Launch Coaster" for 2012

Maybe there gonna do somethin like the flight of fear at kingdominion or rockn rollercoaster at disneyworld.
