RE: Replacement Project For Big Bad Wolf

here's something that i would like to see with the old bbw station. build a coaster and in the middle of the ride have the ride go and stop in the old bbw station where it shows a clip about wolves and then at the end of the clip the wolf opens its mouth and then you shoot off like your going into the wolf's mouth. and then continue on. where you still use the station for what is was built for. roller coasters

saying things about the new drop tower. check this out.

is this anything close to it. they would use the old bbw station as its station not the event buildng. then it will go in the event building and since it seems like forest theme then when you get ready to leave they show a clip of stuff could one of those be a wolf chasing you and then you launch to get away from the wolf then straight to the drop over the rhine? is that anywhere close to whats gonna happen

Geez, I sure wish we were, I dunno, GIVEN all we needed to know about Griffon back when that was getting ready to be built. But no, we did it the old fashioned way, good old speculation. (That, and we had good reason to be cynical of employee fed information.) No offense, but ya'll are getting spoiled right now, be thankful. :p

I can't tell from the plans, but I'm hoping that Busch actually themes ALL of the outside of that event building. (And not 1/4 of the outside and leave the rest of the warehouse exposed.[I'm lookin' at you DarKastle.])

Okay. So my name is Carter (hi y'all!) and I've been following this forum for years. I used to be over at BGEScape but that's all but a graveyard at this point. Essentially this entire discussion has prompted me to register and get the scoop. Coasters are my super nerdy thing and I feel like I know some of you just by reading the site for so long. Excited to be here essentially!

In other news, the inside of that building doesn't look very "take my breath away." I trust you guys when you say it will, I'm just really nervous. The elevated coaster just doesn't look very formidable with it's boxy cars and single track style (as in not the B&M box or the Intamin "cube" track). Ahhhhh, so nervoussssss

Well, well, well. Someone's holding out on us. Looks like ya slipped up. (Or, I have psychic powers and I'm seeing into the future.)

(Also, It's good to see ya over here too Carter!)

Edit: Sorry about that! You didn't see anything!

How did you get there? When I tried to put in the exact address, it said that I wasn't authorized to view the page and that I needed to login

Edit:Too Late

I'm just gonna keep refreshing this page, cause this stuff is reaaaally interesting. ^Oh I'm sooo sold. God this theming is extensive with a capital e. Also this theme is starting to grow on me, it seems like it's diverting from the autobahn theme and becoming more backroads-possessed feeling. Me likey.

The anticipation is killing me... or maybe it's just the passing of time that is slowly doing me in...heh. Oh and welcome to my fellow new person... er yeah.

Do we have an estimate on how longer til the full release?

Should be ready by 10 or so.

this is why were all waiting around. wveve waited for a long time to build a coaster that is BUSCH GARDENS standard and the lack of themeing on griffon and appolos isnt like busch and this ride sounds like the themeing is gonna be great and we want to see whats actually gonna be happening so thats why were all waiting around be cause we love busch gardens and want to see what theyre doing cause you and swift have the info that all of us do not

You guys didn't miss this did you?

I know I didn't... looks cool... but it's a crumb out of a large cookie.... not that I am blaming anyone for my anxiousness... just myself.. heh.

Here's a personal question that will probably have different answers based on the people asked, but since you two have seen more of this ride than anyone else, I'd like to know this one thing... and that is:

"Does this ride serve the Wolf justice?"

In all honesty ArrowWolf, I don't think that's possible. The Wolf was a ride like no other and always will be. In other words, no.

Yea, I don't think so either. No ride ever could.
