Also, all the launches will be indoors. So not only will the building be small, but we've got to fit at least two launches in there.

Also, the indoor building will only be 26k sqft. By comparison, DarKastle's building is 40k sqft. In your mock up of the two buildings they look similar in size. If you keep its present size unadjusted, bbw successor's building would have to be almost half the height of DarKastle. It'll be quite cramped. I would like if the building was themed like the Curse of Novgorod from Hansa Park. Granted it's a Gerstlauer and has mine type trains...it has an awesome dark ride element at the front and at the end. The end being the massive vertical building with lift hill and drop in total darkness. :)

My give up...:s just my estimations... Anymore thoughts on the track color. When they released those new photos and videos of the Oktoberfest overhaul, they noted that the old heritage colors would prominent (like on the Mach Tower) and would also feature colors of the German flag (Red, Yellow, and Black)...

For privacy reasons I wasn't going to release any names, but no he wasn't the only one talking. But Carl said that there was going to be a coaster and that Al would talk more about the subject. Al and Carl were the only two representatives that spoke about it.

I feel as if this conversation is going nowhere...haha. They will not tell the employees much more than they will tell the general public. At least not this far out. It would be suicide to tell a bunch of 16 year olds their biggest secrets. Glad y'all had fun at orientation. Why you thought you'd hear something hush hush and felt compelled to record it via personal device I will never know. Smh...

Larry Giles (probably spelled that wrong) said that the ride would launch into a building during the public hearing for the permits.

Only the well connected people know. And they know they're suppose to keep their mouths shut...

On another note,

I have a feeling that this themed bridge thing will be somewhat indoors like Curse of Norvogod and Mystery Mine...

If you're not going to tell them anything, that's fine. The question is, why would they lie? It just seems ridiculous to think that they lied to a group of new employees for no reason.

Orientation is held at the training center at BGW and are everyday right now leading up to the park's opening. My guess is with all of this is a miscommunication on something said.

I know that all the launches will be indoors because it was address at the public hearing, due to concerns that the noise would be too loud. If they lied about that, they'd be in huge trouble, which is why I know they didn't.

How could this possibly be a "miscommunication"? If there's one thing that all of the people there (or close to the people there) agree on, it's that 300ft was said and even questioned by someone in the room. Also, if they were trying to smoke out the moles, wouldn't they be telling each group something different?

I've been under the impression that this only happened at one orientation. Point is, I think this is an incredibly stupid argument. The fact that some people believe this coaster is 300ft. tall is very comical. Whenever a coaster comes to a park, there is this one period of time where people begin to come out and say ridiculous things that make no sense and besides word of mouth have no other evidence to back it up. This is that time. You guys need to come back down to Earth with this RUMOR. The permits clearly state that not one part of this ride will be above 95ft.

When BGW built Griffon, they had to fight for that height waver and then the coaster had to be painted blue so it wasn't an eye sore for those opposed to it. So how in the hell could BGW build a 300ft coaster without telling anyone?

And heres something to ponder, unless this coaster has 10 times more trims than i305, how would most of this ride fit in the building when it has to go 300ft in the air? That would just be a sad gimmick if that were the case.

Too much battle of the egos are going on in here with some of these people, bro. I'll make a call this evening and get you the CORRECT accurate info or confirm what you know, man.

Sounds good Scoutn.

The people there know what they heard. I know that what I've been told is correct. As I said before, I had just as hard of a time believing it as the rest of you. This is why, as I said before, I even waited for confirmation from someone else before saying what I had been told. Either the park is lying to their new employees or there is going to be a 300ft coaster in Oktoberfest come 2012. I don't know which I believe to be the truth, but I sure hope it isn't the first one.

Mind blowing is how I have heard it described.

As far as the building it without telling people, they Haven't put in a permit for a coaster. This is what gives me the feeling that they are doing something. The title for the permit is for a "new Oktoberfest attraction, to include a 26,000 ft^2 event building. It never says anything about a coaster, launches, or the peak of the track or what not. They still have lots of time to wait till they start breaking ground on the coaster. I think what they could have done was put the first one in early for two reasons. 1. in this industry time is gold. The less time another park has to start one upping your coaster the better. Especially if they don't even see it coming. 2. They can easily start leveling land and building the skeleton of the event building without needing to touch anything for the coaster. This is the one reason that makes me have a little faith in the possibility of a giga. I also wouldn't be surprised by some sort of RR(that's Rhine River not Railroad) crossing.
