I'm also thinking revenge of the mummy like. Either way its going to be innovative and interesting. Big building, homage to the wolf (hopefully), themed bridge, and multi launch. I can't believe it would be entirely inside though.

I've been trying to figure out what this bridge is too. But who's saying this bridge is for people to walk across? Because at the height it will be at certainly this is part of the coaster and most likely its signature section of it. Like what dive to the river was for BBW, interlocking loops for LNM and so on.

I don't think BGW would use a theme that's already on an existing coaster.

I don't know if anyone has brought this to attention yet:
Today I was sent an e-mail by BGW asking me to take a survey. Most of the survey was asking about potential names for a possible new coaster with this description:
Now we would like you to read a description for a potential coaster attraction at Busch Gardens Williamsburg.
See if you can brave the Black Forest on Busch Garden’s all-new roller coaster in the Germany area. What starts as a nice ride through the countryside quickly launches into a lightning-fast, multi-sensory dash through crazy turns, hidden hazards and heart-pounding drops. Inspired by the famed autobahn, the ride combines fast launches, special effects and indoor and outdoor elements to make it a one-of-a-kind coaster experience.
Potential names are: "Revenge of the Black Forest," "Uber Bahn," "Black Forest Turbo," and "Verbolten."
I personally am a fan of the Revenge of the Black Forest name.
Any thoughts?

I love when they use the language of the country to name the ride, and it beats the hell out of "Mach Tower".
Agreed... but of the selections that is the best IMO.
An autobahn theme seems very Kings Dominiony to me.
Anyone remember the Italin Job coaster? Man that thing feels dated now. even changed the name, licencing issues I suppose.
It needs to be a fable or nod to the BBW.

My thoughts on the names:
Revenge of the Black Forest: I think it's too vague, How can a forest get revenge?, Is it someone or something in the forest seeking revenge? (Hopefully a pack of wolves?)
Uber Bahn: An Autobahn theme would be too modern for the overall theming of the hamlet and the park. And I'm not so sure about using the word "uber". :-/
Black Forest Turbo: Sounds like a ten-year-old came up with that name. Kinda boring and uncreative. :dodgy:
Verbolten: So far the best sounding name, but what does it mean? :huh:

Verbolten from German (Im assuming that is the language since its in Germany section) to English means absulutly nothing, I take German and Ver or Bolten mean nothing at all in English, so I used my trusty side kick....... Google Translater and they got nothing either, only Bolten spelled Bolton.......

WOW, BGW really has lost creativity with ride names over the years.
As for the Autobahn theme, IT SUCKS! The only way this coaster will win me over is if it ties into the wolf somehow. I don't really see The Big Bad Wolf racing on a highway with no speed limit.
Now for the positive, the description is decent.
As a side note, if you take the L out of verbolten, it means banned. I really hope it was a mis-spelled word and it was meant to be verboten. Banned could easily tie into the Black Forest theme with you taking a car ride into the forest, take a wrong turn, then the creatures of the forest unleash their wrath against you because humans are banned from that portion of the forest. If verboten was a choice, it gets my vote!

I'll be calling it Das Launchinfast if any of these names are chosen. They're all absolutely terrible. :dodgy: Busch just needs to start calling Nora whenever they want to name something...
