The Weather Channel forecast has now changed to 50% scattered thunderstorms on Saturday; looks mainly in the early part of the day. Still going though!! More park for me!

That makes 2 of us, plus your brood and the 14 others I am bringing!

I posted something about this in the Facebook thread, but seeing how it directly relates to the event, I decided just to keep it here.

Some pass holders were storming the Facebook page demanding to know the official word from the park and get a straight yes or no answer in regards to are friends of pass holders that are not pass holders allowed in to the park on Preview Day.

The issues was brought up when a guest posted an e-mail received from the park that stated specifically that pass holders were allowed to purchase one day tickets for that day for friends that don't have passes. The reason this was brought about the demanding pass holders was because the park was posting that Preview Day was a special day for pass holders and that the public can visit the next day therefor making it seem like only pass holders would be allowed.

Currently, the park posted specifically that 'Preview Day is a day intended for pass holders." And now some of those pass holders are even more frustrated because the park has not given them a specific yes or no but more or less left the answer up to loose interpretation of words.

Me personally, I believe Preview Day should be for pass holders specifically but I do understand they don't want to upset angry guests who show up at the park and expect to be let in, or disappoint anyone with a similar situation, they want to try to please everyone so if you show up and you didn't know I understand that being okay; which what seems to be their game plan. Make it appear like it is for pass holders only without specifically stating that and should something like this come up, they can fix it fast. Makes sense, but then you have specific people who complain for a straight answer and you get the park looking bad either way. I think a straight answer or explanation would be too much because it would leave room for people to abuse the operation, you would have more people showing up that didn't have passes and it would be just another regular day. So I do understand and respect the loose interpretation of the wording of that comment.

Does anyone have anything to add in regards to the most recent comment they posted? Or has everyone pretty much gotten on the same page and realize what is going on?

I personally think they should come flat out and say, "No, it is a day dedicated to season pass holders." I also don't under stand peoples confusion with it, it's nothing new. And the name of it answers people's question "Pass Member Preview Day"

Don't wish for too much iffy weather, or the park will close (I'm looking at you, Preview Day 2011). PS: Actually, now I think about it, it was Opening Day 2011, not Preview Day. I think.

There are some pretty think headed people out there. Plus, most of the issues is revolved around can pass holders bring a non-passholder friend, which I can see how confusion can get stirred up there especially with the spoiler ;)

The General Public (GP)

I have to disagree, it's for "pass members" therefore if you do not have a pass, you should not be allowed in. Theyre open Sunday for everybody

Yea redsoxfan787 is right it is already crowded enough that day because everyone, and their brother(that is a pass member) goes there. Why should we let even more people in. Last year on pass member preview day I got there around 1 and there was a line to get into the parking lot backed up to the exit on 64. Plus this is a day just for pass members, and nobody else this is a day where the park "closes" it down just for Pass members.

Oh! One tip for people who are going on PMPD. I know some of you know this already, but I feel like it hasn't been clearly stated yet. Okay for every one who is going that day Avoid The Guest Relations Line! This is the worst thing you can do, because on PMPD the line is huge! This is because everyone wants to reprint their pass, and the line goes very slow. This could eat up 45 mins- 1 hour of your time!

And I believe this is kindve what party rocker was saying, the park doesn't want to come straight out and tell you no. I saw a lady ask them on twitter, and they said "We are open on (3/16) for Pass Member Preview Day. And we are open (3/17) for Everyone. Hope this helps!"

May not be sunny with blue skies, but will still be a decent day. Especially for pictures. Overcast is perfect for photo ops!! :)

Thanks zach. At least put up some of the big details. If they give you guys a Q&A at the food and wine update I'd like to know if they plan on doing a wristband and sampling at different places or is it a pay as you go system.

FYI: If anyone was planning on going to the meet-up; I changed the time and place to accommodate those who wish to go to the presentation:

https://www.facebook.com/events/155455487944479/

Due to Busch Gardens adding a Pass Member presentation at the Globe Theater at 10:30am let's change the time and place of our meet-up to be 9:45 at the Big Ben in England? We will be able to meet one another and still get in line to see what the park president has to say about the 2013 season!

Then after the presentation we can head over to enjoy a ride on the Legendary Loch Ness! As mentioned before, feel free to wear anything vintage to show your appreciation of the past!
