Having attended the media preview, I have to say the consensus was this was much better than expected. The more comfortable restraints combined with a focus on airtime rather than inversions like older standups made it a solid B+ ride in my book. It's short and the second-half helixes get repetitive, but it's a much better addition to SWO than a lot of the coaster pundits had anticipated.

That airtime alone makes me want to give the "Parts Crusher 2.0" trains a try.

^I would say it is theoretically possible, but very impractical & we'll likely never see one. Pipeline is clearly designed to be more graceful & not subject riders to the "old school" level of forces, as well as the airtime moments carefully planned out and factoring in the movement of the seats into the layout design. Maybe there could be a custom 4-across, non-moving, vest restraint variant, but certainly not the bouncy version.

You also then run into the seating arrangement differences (4 across vs. 2x2), which adds another level of impracticality.

Got about 5 rides in yesterday.

It's pretty forceful. Not as intense as GL or Scorcher, but you can feel the Gs in spots. The bouncing seats do magnify the airtime, which is a major plus for me. The two bunny hills toward the end are ridiculously fun with the bouncy seats. Launch is really fun and kinda comes out of nowhere.

Operations are mixed though. If one person takes too long, it holds up the train for 5 minutes. The vest restraints are terrible. They tighten pretty hard and are borderline painful.

I love the verification process on the ride. There's a physical check on the vest and the operator verifies if it's locked by waving a wristband in front of an RFID sensor. Not sure if it increases capacity that much more than the old school check.

I do like the placement of the ride, but that area is gonna need some rides and attractions to pull people. It's still a dead area outside of Pipeline. The theming is pretty minimal outside of the entrance sign, a few murals spread throughout, and the ice coolers as item storage in the station.

Viewing area feels like an afterthought. It's squeezed between the gift shop and the ride exit with not much space. Maybe expand the entrance plaza and expand the viewing area at the exit. Right now it's a total bottleneck and it'll probably be much worse after the ride opens.

It's a solid ride for the park, but it's a definite once per visit ride.

I've heard some people describe the seating configuration as just "uncomfortable" to where it's "nauseating" which makes me wonder, does this feel more like a KMG Troika seat than a typical B&M stand up? That I can tolerate a bit more then where my legs are locked in place largely on a normal B&M Stand Up.
