I think only the back half of Jungala has been closed. The front half with the Tiger and Orangutan habitats as well as Chick-Fil-A has been routinely open. Wild Surge, Treetop Trails, and the surrounding mini area have been closed.
That is true.

Also, for what it's worth, SandSerpent's closure isn't just SandSerpent. It includes most of Pantopia, basically except Scorpion and Falcons Fury (at this moment). Unknown what rides replace everything else at this point, but the area is going to be highly updated/maybe re-themed. More info to come.

And yes, I know this just happened in 2014. It's happening again, 10 years later.

ETA: Typo

Don’t wanna knock what you’re saying, but what is your source on this? As far as I can tell, no one on here has heard/mentioned anything about an update/possible retheme.

I work within the chain, and this project has been openly discussed within my unit. Additionally, having seen new markers around SandSerpent, I am much more inclined to believe it.

You said, “It includes most of Pantopia, basically expect Scorpion and Falcons Fury…”

Did you mean “expect” or “except?”

My apologies; good catch! Except Falcon's Fury and Scorpion is what I meant. As per my understanding, those two rides will remain during the land's overhaul.

Can confirm I’ve heard this as well, most of the buildings will stay, and the Busch flyers will return after a refurbishment. Pantopia never fit the theme of the park, so this aims to fix that. Scorpion will only go back to the original orange and black color scheme. Falcons Fury will get a new cover over the queue as well. To my knowledge the only thing getting demolished is the games area.

There's a lot of indecisiveness recently and the park has been known to spread incorrect info to the ops level. Some of this info is in direct conflict with things that are happening recently on the back of house side of things. While a pantopia rework could be in the cards, I wouldn't bet on details from ops employees at this point. Over the last few months there's already been a few other projects "leaked" for BGT that aren't exactly shaping up

True, it could be one of the many things being considered, but Why all the markers? Why tear down Phoenix now after so long of it being SBNO?

We'll just have to see. The positives are that nothing I've heard seems like a bad idea, everything seems to be a legitimate upgrade that IMO will help the park.

I can confirm the park president has said "We tore down Phoenix for a reason, and that reason will be revealed soon."

I don’t want to knock what you’re saying, but this is a Mack mouse. If it indeed only has a month of operation left, they would have made an announcement at this point. Also, it wouldn’t be because of a lack of parts—Mack still produces the wild mouse and its parts. Every time I’ve gone, the ride has also had a long line. So unless there’s a huge breakdown that the ride just experienced that we’re unaware of, I find it extremely unlikely it’s about to close.
