I do apologize for that outburst. I still think crowding could potentially be an issue; if not at least it may seem or feel crowded.

1. They obviously don't have the space for every pass member in one hamlet.

You sure about that? During Christmas Town, it felt as though every passholder and their extended family would be in the hamlet during peak times. And that's with some of the pathways blocked off. In this case, with everything open, it shouldn't be a problem.

2. If it does get really busy, with everyone being restricted to one hamlet, it can get very very crowded.

Not a big issue. If anything, you'll have a bit of a wait for some of the rides.

3. Actually, I think this is something the park can monitor a lot better than other things. Plus, you don't have team members checking passes, it will be security checking for passes, and they care more about their job.

People will still slip through the cracks. The park isn't gonna be dumb to split family/friends up for an event.

4. Seriously, BGW pass holders get crap for perks. For the most part, it is free parking, admission, and discounts. Honestly, there hasn't been anything like this at the park, that I know of and honestly, I am really excited they are slowly adding more reasons to be a pass holder with a few extra perks.

The perks are pretty much on par with any other theme park around the country. You get in-park merch/food discounts, free admission, admission+discounts at the other Busch parks (if you purchase the right passes), free in-park special events (NASA Day, Howl O Scream), free in-park concerts, Passmember Preview day in March, and Passmember Appreciation weekend in September. Plus the park gave passholders early ERT on Verbolten last year. I recall the park giving out early ERT for Griffon when that first opened too.

I think you are just trying to push off my concern that they have a small area and they are allowing a great many people to be in that area. If it is a really nice and busy day, I see crowd issues. If you don't think there may be some chance no matter how little just some chance that out of the blue this event will go horribly wrong because 10K people show up to try and fit into one little hamlet, oh well, excuse me for think about something that can potentially be an issue.
Yeah. I don't see overcrowding as an issue, especially one as big as Oktoberfest.

Probably, in the message they say that all restaurants will remain open in the hamlet. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think if they opened Oktoberfest, and Germany then it will be a lot better for crowd control. They'll have 2 roller coasters, LOD, and various flats open including Darkastle which should be plenty of room. Not to mention the Festhaus.

They said *several* not all; however I get the feeling most if not all will be open.

Me like this idea.

So, can we expect to see areas roped off with employee/guards watching? Like during the staggered opening times.

You know what? It might really feel like the Germany of a certain time period if you have to "show your papers" when asked by the guards everywhere (Pass Members).

- Security Checkpoints.
"Show me your papers."
"Where are you headed? Where are you coming from?"

I don't know if I want to go. Sucks the fun out of it.

LOD will not be open. The extent will basically be from Mach Tower to DarKastle. I would assume that Beste Brezlin und Bier would definitely be open. For the Festhaus, I'm not really sure...unless they're having another showing of TIO or another type of something special.

I wasn't saying that it will be open. I was saying that next time they do this they should open both Germany(Rhinefeld(which includes Alpengeist, and LOD)), and Oktoberfest to have a more extent of area, and rides. I wasn't saying that LOD would be open this time. It was a concept for the nextime.

The park just sent out an email about the pass member ride nights. I have to say, I love the design of this email. May be one of the best looking emails I've ever received.
