Just read this but the park is doing a founders event in May for the 40th. Also notice how on the lanyards they say 40 years of Fun. Could that be the name of the celebration?

I wouldn't expect anything on the caliber of KD's 40th celebration. This will probably be more like SeaWorld's 50th, where there's no real celebration, other than the hundreds of banners and signs put up around the park.

Yes. The Executive Chef told us he was testing various Asian dishes for a possible Asian booth at F&WF. He asked us for verbal feedback, and we also filled out questionnaires.

I was going to give the park shit for doing this, but if it's them testing future food... That's fantastic. To me it shows atleast someone gives a shit at the park.

I think that what was most dissapointing about this announcement, is that the Festhaus was open that morning. They could've easily just gave Carl Lum a microphone, put him on stage, and he could've said the exact same things, and more importantly the audience could've seen, heard, and been in the AC. But nooOOOOoo, they had to crowd everyone outside in the sun, where they couldn't see, and where temperatures were approaching, or at 90 degrees. Plus the audio and/or speakers were screwed up, so barely anybody could hear a thing he said.

To be fair, I enjoyed the morning event thingy. I didn't hear anything, but the conversation and muffins were good. And there were no lines for the rides.
