As an aside, for a $5 donation to the conservation fund, you can trade in your "paper" pass for a credit card style hard pass. You do it at the booth up the hill from the gate, or at the ticket counter at Water Country (when it was open).

Was I the only one who got the hard pass? The nice lady who printed it for me said, it was totally waterproof, and has a special ink that will never fade. I got the breast cancer awareness one, even though there was an option to get the conservation fund one. I was willing to donate $10, but I got a extremely durable hard pass too, so I was very happy!

Description(for breast cancer awareness one): On the front there was the new logo, with the "white wood" background. It also had a pink border with a small pink ribbon in the bottom right hand corner. The back has all the stuff as the regular passes, but in a different font with some things in different places, but not that different than the regular pass.

Thought I would put this here too.

i got the hard pass, but that thing has definitely faded and the plastic is coming up on the edges. I got mine almost exactly 2 years ago now.

I promise you, those hard passes are not any better than the paper passes unless you just like having a hard pass just to have it.

Paper or Plastic they both have their good and bad. My family has had their paper passes for years and they aren't ruined, but when they get lost and the get reprinted the reprints get ruined. Plastic is the same exact way.

WHen it comes down to it, just like many other things, they are hit or miss, both of them.

This is a 1996 BGW Corporate Bounceback Ticket. The details are on the back. These were for large corporations. In our case, a company gave us these for a free trip to BGW.

I need to find it but somewhere I have one from sometime between '95-'98 that has my picture on it. I wish the quality of the passes were better. I got mine wet at WCUSA a few weeks ago and now it's really faded but I don't think it's bad enough to replace.

We got hard plastic passes, and they look really cool. Since the money goes to the Conservation Fund, they have a turtle and leopard on them.

How much extra is that option? Do you get that version at guest services?

$5

And in FL you just go to guest services. Historically though, things have been a bit more convoluted in Williamsburg (I've been sent to the Wild Reserve and Banbury Market to have it done before). I'd ask at guest services and see what happens. Also, report back. :)

I payed $10 to donate to the company's breast cancer awareness fund, and the conservation fund, I had the option of what hard pass to get. I got the Breast Cancer awareness one. It has the logo, with a pink border and pink ribbon.

yup, that is where I went on Friday to get my replacement.
Stupid Eiffel tower eating my wallet...

Dumb ole monument.
