I also prefer the old layout to the new one. I think I've ridden this right in every single one of its incarnations and my favorite is still after the trims were removed with new harnesses and no track modifications.

Does anybody know where I could get an i305 bumper sticker?

Ask in their gift shop, if they don't have any you're better off going indy and making it yourself.

Don't you mean before?

Well I won't be able to make it back up there untill next year... MAYBE :( but could I order one online? But if not, where exactly could I get one made?

EDIT: Or if anyone has one they are willing to sell, I would be very interested!

I was searching Kings Dominion Images on Google the other day and I came across some very interesting I305 pictures. So I thought I would share...

Those are from the crane company that was used for I305's construction it looks like. Cool part is that those photos were taken while they were doing pull through testing [see first image].

They could've built a go-kart track in that area to make it look more authentic @_@. Although governed karts are just no fun, so it'd kind of be like a compounding of suckage in one area.

I really like the supporting on i305 compared to Skyrush though, it's so much better not seeing 500,000 bolts in every nook and crannie.

After heading to the park today for a little while I noticed something from Anaconda's lift hill. There are huge chunks of paint missing in sections of the rails because of the trains, and as a train went through the first turn I noticed it was tearing even more paint off. The shredding is mainly in the turns but it seriously makes me wonder just how much force that track takes when the trains are ripping the paint off of it.

It was shredding paint before it even opened. There is a Teaser video with some testing POV shots and you can see lots of shredded paint.

Sounds like I305 is having major issues at the moment. Zachary was at the park today and said that the silver train was stuck near the top of the lift hill all day long. He said that an Eiffel Tower operator said that I305 was down most (if not all) of yesterday, but the silver train was in the station.

I've never heard of I305 being down this long and with the train being stuck at the top of the lift hill. The train looks like it's parked in a position as if the next block hasn't been cleared, but I have no idea.

If anyone has heard anything about these issues or heard of a previous issue similar to this, let me know, I'm interested in what is wrong.

Here are some pictures that Zachary took today. He also stated that security was threatening to throw you out of the park if you took pictures of I305. They also told the Eiffel Tower operators to not let guests take pictures on that side of the Eiffel Tower platform.

No joke, this happened. They sent out security guards and everything. What the hell Kings Dominion?! Anyway, their absurd strictness peaked my interest and made me even more determined to get pictures.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard the park do!

You have a coaster train that is stuck about 280-ft in the air that's gonna be visible from a good majority of the park.

Did they really think they could enforce that?!

What a bunch of idiots!!!

I can confirm this. I wish they had handled it better. Rides go down all the time, it is no big deal. Still the fact they barked at us for taking a photo of the ride was really out there in la la land.

I was able to get a photo off the Eiffel Tower as no one said anything to me then. Again- it just looks like the ride is running as normal from the image you can get from a little point and click camera like we had. Still, got a pic of the outside "closed" sign just because.

It is so silly to pay people to say "Don't take a photo of the 300ft monstrosity that you can see a mile away." :dodgy:

Thanks for the picture! I'm trying to look around the area and see if I see anything out of place. Looks like there is a maintenance vehicle down by Rebel Yells back turn...

Screamscape is reporting the ride has been down since Monday evening with a possible lift cable malfunction.
