They use the extended queue when it's crowded. I've had the privelege of experiencing it. The theming was fantastic, and better than I305 by a long shot.Youhow2 said:

The only roller coaster at bg that's very well themed is verbolten. Because racetracks are always placed right next to a jungle with a secret miltary installation. It is traditional Cedar Fair themeing at best, atleast BGW ties their coasters into the area they're located in.
I'm not critizing bg, it's my favorite theme park and I go to it 20+ times a year. All I'm saying is the coaster itself (not the area it's in) is pretty well themed. Volcano is a pretty good themed coaster as well. But I personally do not care about the theming of a ride as much as the ride itself. And it's the best coaster I've ever been on.
Why is the major turn a right turn when it's NASCAR? The themeing isn't that great. :x
I never rode it when it first opened, all I know is that it was a great ride. But I don't think I've heard anything about people blacking out since the change, just some greying out from some people, Including me. So it's probably better now
Yea it was way intense before the changes, havent been back to KD after i got the fun pass for the past few years

It's hardly overboard. Nascar has run quite a few races that involve right and left hand turns (I can name all the tracks if you'd like!). They also ran Clockwise (turning right) at Darlington in South Carolina for quite a while, too. So i305 does get a check for having a "road course" feel, but it doesn't help with its simplistic look.
Alright, NASCAR can turn left or right all they want but this isn't the thread to talk about it in.
The theme was chosen after the layout was already planned. It's not supposed to feel like you're racing, even though some say it does. Do I even have to mention Intimidator Carowinds?
