Or just reduce maintenance budgets and staffing down to an absolute minimum and forbid parks from maintaining any meaningful stockpile of parts in-house.

These maintenance departments are operating with shoestring budgets and skeleton crews. That makes problematic coasters like Pantherian a far bigger issue than they were even just a handful of years ago.

Hearing a rumor that the new lift motor they got is faulty and will need to be fixed/replaced. Honestly if this is true, with this and superman sfa trains being faulty intamin is really fucking up major replacement parts this year. Also from what I understand it’s likely done for the year, they’ll never admit that officially but it’s likely so if that motor is fucked up

Guess I’ll have to ride racer north and take a peek again

Geez, as if the wheel issue wasn't enough. Guess I'm not surprised it's down for the rest of the year. The way it's been blocked off since last Friday definitely wasn't a good sign.

In a bit of an ass backwards way, this kinda makes me feel better about it having been closed the day I flew in and out of Richmond for it. Obviously I’d much rather it just be open, but it’s also somewhat reassuring that I don’t just have the absolute worst luck and it wasn’t a one weekend thing.
