Call me a doomer and eye roll me all you want, but Is there a teensy weensy chance that this thing could be getting to its last legs? I mean the reliability is just atrocious at this point, and I don’t know if the higher ups have their eyes on this as a future removal to cut costs.

So... a custom set of ride hardware and systems will have parts fail over time, and unfortunately Intamin isn't well-known for having most parts sitting on the shelf for quick distribution; this in no way is an indicator of if the ride is nearing the end of it's lifespan.

Adding to that, some of the recent issues are related to the rail repaint, such as shredding wheels and the clogged spray caps for the in-station water sprayers caused some downtime until it gets dialed in like they did in the first season of operations.

If we start seeing major structural issues (not just the few times they may reweld a joint or two) or signs that the park isn't getting the desired returns for their continued investment (which, before you go doomsaying on that too, I'd argue between we really don't know what the execs are looking at/for and it's unlikely they would have invested into the retheme if they were planning on it sitting SBNO or complete removal), then would be a better time to speculate on if the ride is getting close to its end.

Was going to say, you generally don’t put time, money, and other resources into retheming/remodeling something if you intend to remove it. Had there been any immediate intent of that, we 100% would’ve just stuck with Project 305 and the lift issues may very well have been the end. This retheme has had it consistently popular with the GP, this season’s uptime aside it’s the best thing that could’ve happened to it.

If they removed it KD would see biblical levels of attendance decreases.

Off topic... Why do the chains even buy from Intamin? They seem to be an unreliable mess at least to me.
