It appears Kings Dominion has elected “not” to open the Giga coaster by Spring Break. Like all of it no I305 per their KD Blog post.

A very intaminless Spring in Virginia so far.
If the supply chain issues are affecting its’ annual maintenance, they may not have a choice in the matter. I know we love i305 as it’s the only giga in Virginia, but we can’t control the supply chain.

2.5 hours to and usually 2 hours back for me. At this point, with no flights & bites and no free credit for another visit, I will wait for i305 to be open I think.

I find it annoyingly frustrating that KD elected to use i305 for so much of their spring break marketing without opening it.

Anyone have any insight into its continued closure?

Both trains have been sitting there for weeks completely uncovered and protected, just like when they had to replace the lift motor, as if they're pissed off at it (or no one has been assigned to do anything).

Afaik they've worked through Intamin for parts and ride programming, so it's not a dispute with the manufacturer...

I wish the park would give an idea when this may reopen. Definitely a major con to going the longer it’s down. I need my face melted off! Especially after Skyrush threw me all over the place last weekend.
