Agreed.

I watched the video and honestly I can't tell what the heck the outcome of that video was. It sounds like Xanterra and Kingsmill want to rent out cottages. That's the only thing I could take away. Also the council does not want anyone to live there permanently. (Is Williamsburg a no-apartment county or something?)

No, I don't think the county wants it a "no-apartment county". All they want is a defined rule to the code so no one can take advantage of it. Hotels or Motels are designed for sort term rentals, but the county doesn't have a problem to allow someone from the same family to rent out the same room or cottage, since it's a different person (different last name) in the same family paying the bill. But they didn't want this to be abused by anyone who rents out the space and county attorney agrees with the Wilford Kale (county board member) that this can be abused, that's why the county attorney will look in too the section "D" of the code to see if they're any problems with it and what changes can be if any.pandorazboxx said:I watched the video and honestly I can't tell what the heck the outcome of that video was.
