Yea, from what I know putting it on the hill would
A. Force the rides over there to close if construction extended into the season
B. Would “ruin the integrity of Jungle Falls”
C. not outright said but let’s be real, the hill probably isn’t the best structural wise.

Points B and C have me curious - by integrity of Jungle Falls are they thinking aesthetics, since it's not really themed much beyond being placed on the hill where a ride above it changes any forced perspective?
Also, I thought the hill was basically a giant mound of rocks covered by dirt and concrete with wood decking and slides on top, is it actually more like the rebar/concrete Smurf Mountain/Volcano at KD?
To be honest I have no idea what was meant by point B. It was just something a supervisor said to me lol.

I think it’s terribly stupid. I also think the theme is stupid because it really has no place in a (loosely) Caribbean themed park.
Eh... I wouldn't really think of OB as themed exactly - similar to what you said, loose tropical vibe. With a sign or two and done added scenery (maybe a couple of palm trees, jumping fountains that look like cannons, etc), I think it could fit well enough.
Well, when I say loosely, I mean *really* loosely. ?That gorilla really pushes that Carribean theme.
Looks like Ocean Breeze is setting up for something... drove down Ocean Breeze Parkway today and most of the slides I could see were running, Kids area was running, adventure river was filled and circulating (still green water), and cabanas and chairs were being put out. Hopefully they are preparing to open!!
