A Sunday performance had the "Tonight" number down to 2 couples and no bird masks. Temporary, I was assured, due to some last minute show changes for that day's time slot.
Also, disco wigs have taken a HUGE trim due to deteriorating condition in the past month.

Most of Night Beats' set was set up yesterday. Everything that was set up was unchanged from last year, for what it is worth.
Except the half moon chair seemed to have a red cover over it, I don't know it that's temporary or not.

Other than a few cheesy lines added its largely the same show from last year. The new leads are alright. I feel the male tries to overact.
Oh and the microphones suck. The lead has a deep voice so its hard to hear him at time.

Night Beats is a radically different show this year. New blocking, new dances, new set list, etc. Definitely better than 2014 or 2015. Audience participation and awful dialog have both been reduced.

Here's the full video of the new Night Beats. I saw it when I was at the park, definitely an improvement compared to the past 2 years.

I have heard that the show will be reworked, but I don't know if it will mostly resemble last year's show or the original. With what they did last year, they might as well have gone all the way through with it being a new show.
I am very glad to hear this because I was told earlier that the show wasn't returning and I was hoping for something new.
