I find Nächt Tower more terrifying because if it stops, you're most likely going to drop lol! At least during the regular season, you know you will drop one way or another

When I was at the park on Tuesday last week it seemed like the tower went down while I was at the pretzel shop. It seemed to stop right above the loading area and they had to do like a "mini-drop" with people ostensibly on the ride itself. Does that happen often?
Not sure if it happens often, but it does seem like Intamin rides are down much more often than others.
Not quite as often as a certain Moser's ride that I know of
I've definitely seen it do this back in Christmas Town 2019. It's a production.
Am I the only one who'd probably enjoy the regular drop function on this one if somehow the ride programming defaulted to it? Bonus points if they turn the seat vibration back on (never gonna happen is my guess).
So you want the drop tower to run as a drop tower? Sounds farfetched.
When it's being billed as a gentle observation ride instead of it's primary function, hell yeah the element of surprise will hit much harder - I'm down for that.
Also, the people that got on specifically because it wasn't supposed to drop would have priceless reactions (assuming nobody got hurt).
BTW, in case it's not readily apparent, I'm not actually advocating this to happen.
