Whatever is wrong with montu, it's definitely not nothing. It's closed often, and when it is open, it's on 1 train even if the line is a solid hour deep. It was like that all last year in my experience

The ride itself was quite good when I was there early December. They were running a single train, but there was no crowd at all. Could it just be a train maintenance issue? I felt nothing wrong with the track.

Interesting. Is it possible that 2 of the trains hit that number right around the same time, leading to its one train operations?

From what I've seen, trains #2, #3 and #4 can be running on any given day but only one at a time. #1 is dismantled and the chasis can be seen under the final brake run. Last time I got #3 it shook the teeth outta my head. But regardless all 3 of those trains are operable and can be seen fully assembled in the barn from the transfer track. On Thursday when I asked the attendant at the front of the queue what was up with the ride, he told me it was "ghost-training" I've never heard of that happening on a steel coaster but then again I don't know alot.

If that's the case, I wonder why it's happening now - that sort of thing seems to usually be a new ride teething issue.

Could it be due to the ride controls having issues?

This happened a Verbolten a LOT a while back. There was a period of time where the ride couldn’t run all 5 trains because when they would go to add the 5th train, the computer system would think there were 7 trains on the track.

If they recently got a new panel or computer upgrade to the ride, that could be causing it. Kraken got an entirely new panel and I know that’s been acting up a little bit.
