Mix It Up

While Mix it Up is still supposed to return this season, according to what I've been told by a few people now, it will not be debuting till mid to late May.
So we really will start the season with only 4 live shows, until May. If you need me I'll be at TIO.
Just in list form to confirmation, TIO, Entwined, More ... Pets Shenanigans, Sunny Days Celebrations.
Celtic Fyre also. But I'm talking major shows if we include small shows I think it would be this:
Celtic Fyre, TIO, Entwined(blah), More.. Pet Shenanigans(all major shows), Sunny days celebration, Maypole(has been confirmed!), whatever is coming to LOD, KVB, and (hopefully) the Aquitaine village band(?!).
So if everything goes right we will have a total of 9 shows, that includes major and minor ones, at the beginning of the season.

As mentioned under London Rocks, this seems a bit late to still be looking for positions to fill. They still have a BUNCH of openings.

I'm not sure if getting a cast is the problem. I can think of two things off the top of my head that could push back the date. One being the new 6-month seasonal employee status. If they plan on using the same cast for Mix It Up as with Dig It Up and into Christmas Town, that seems like a good reason to push back the show a bit in order to save some money as far as hiring performers and technicians goes. The other reason being, just simply to save money. Less shows ends up in less money being spent. That could mean ore money for London Rocks! it could mean more money for something else. Either way they are saving money somewhere by pushing the date back some.
Or... they could have not procrastinated and done all of this, you know, over the off season. Geez, I don't even put off my summer book reports for this long.

After visiting Kings Dominion and catching a showing of the Clown Band this weekend, I noticed a rather familiar face. Drumming away and leading the antics of his fellow musicians was none other than the Funny Drummer from Mix It Up!
Our friend (the name escapes me) is wearing a purple coat and is playing on the drums/cowbell. Even in a new location with new performers, he is as wonderfully talented and fun as ever! It's great to know that we will still be able to see him perform, even if it's in a new place.

Zach, Zack, however he spells his name. Was with BGW about 4 years? Talented percussionist.
The girl trumpeter in the purple jacket, and yellow pants, was in TIO 2013.
