Could they not afford lead singers or dancers? And who is doing the choreography a 9 year old, all hops and circles? I loved this show, now it just sort of drifts along with no focus. Did they cut a song? It seems shorter.

Honestly, from what I've seen(thousands of mini clips of the whole show from Luke) I'd rank the show at 2012 level, to be honest. Some of the dancing they re-did I've honestly been far surprised with, considering I was expecting the worst from what I saw they did with Night Beats this year(which from what I'm hearing seems to have happened to Deck The Halls), but I was somewhat pleasantly surprised. Some of the new coreography I really think is far above what it was last year, other new parts, not so much. But honestly last year with the new stage, the dancing was vastly improved, so it's hard to compare this year with last year, which is why I rank it with what it was in 2012, when it still performed on the old stage.

As far as vocals go, I think that the singers sound amazing when they sing together, potentially on the level of last year's vocals. On the other hand though, the solos are not as strong as last year's, although I will say they're still decent, probably along the lines of 2012's solos. Really, the fact there's no lead doesn't bother me all that much.

As far as casting goes, we all have to remember, the show was a last minute addition, and wasn't happening at all just a couple months ago, so it's basically built on leftovers of casting, which is why I was not expecting much from the show this year, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the total cast number was very close to what it was in previous years. I hope to make a better opinion on the show when I see it today for myself.

Beatrix sings in this show. The dancing is suffering everywhere because of the change from old choreographer to the current "award winner" one. I'd name people if not for forum rules. She must not like ballroom dancing (but loves circles) seeing it removed from Night Beats & Deck the Halls. DTH was like MSoRR flashbacks for me. Not a lot of variety and creativity in my opinion.

Scott seems to have a weird hatred of musical instruments and musicians. I think actual talent frightens the Ent department, so it's usually quickly removed before it upstages the projectors or the twirling around in circles.

Miracles is a laughable choreography disaster. Why do they make bird wings when singing a song about "flying without wings"? Why do they "dive" through hoops made by other dancers arms like a move from Pet Shenanigans? Why does half the show consist of running backwards? It's all astoundingly bad.

Miracles was just really confusing last night. I was just very confused as to what they were trying to make out of the show now. Choreography was pretty bad in some parts too.

So if I re-collect well, my initial impression was that they were following this girl around in life(?) and we see how Angels guide and influence her life.(?) It was just all so confusing, it felt like they were trying to make a story out of the show which was a HUGE turn-off for my love of the show. The beauty of Miracles was that there wasn't a single once of plot or story, or even theme for that matter, it was just an enjoyable show with singing and dancing. Of course the park couldn't keep it that way.

The choreography was just so weird. All of the new choreography was just so confusing, and did not fit. There were too many swift sudden movements, in what is supposed to be a slow, free-flowing show. Everything just got so repetitive and boring at some points. Some moves were not only used multiple times in every part of the show, but were repeated 5-10 times in a row, in individual parts of the show. However, I will say some of the choreography was still legitimately good, but those parts were few and far between. The Duet towards the end of the show was the only part that maintained decent choreography for the whole scene. There were small parts in other songs that had good choreography, but it never stayed that way for the entire song.

The vocals are very different this year, but I still enjoyed them. The solos were simply amazing, just about on par with last year, even the fire within segment. The four singers harmonized very well together. Although, there were times where I could barely hear some of them, even when there was more than one of them singing. Another thing I noticed is all back-up vocal tracks were eliminated, everything you hear was coming directly out of their mouths, which is a huge plus for me, as I find back-up tracks very obvious, and to be a huge turn-off.

Overall, Miracles was still enjoyable for me, but not nearly as enjoyable as it was last year, which is sad. I did watch it with Joe, and the first thing I heard from him about the show was it was better than the last time he saw it in 2012, so I suppose my initial assumption that it would be somewhere along the lines of what it was in 2012 wasn't completely off. Still the best of the two shows I saw last night, but the other one was Deck The Halls sooooo...

Just saw the show...I enjoyed it very much! The singers and dancers were all great, but I miss the cast from last year. Especially the African American lady with the powerhouse voice! The singing style was a bit different as well. They seemed to use their head voice more than last year's cast, who belted a lot. There's nothing wrong with either of these choices, but I personally prefer belting. :)

I guess I'll be the one to mention it...

Miracles's set is in shambles right now. Most of the columns that hold up the trees are either extremely dented(see center columns on stage), or split into a couple pieces and put back together(see the rest). The trees stayed for the most part in tact, but there are some where the very top broke off, and they put an extremely mis-colored repair, that easily stands out. As revealed earlier, the old piano was just a keyboard in a gigantic shell, well yeah, with everything else I've seen I'd bet money it isn't in Scott's office, but in a couple pieces at a dump somewhere. Also, who doesn't like the already broken decorative tiles on the stage, that have moss growing on them?(I don't even know how moss spread there, but it did)

Very sad that they would treat props like that. And then put there tattered remains on display.

It doesn't seem un-common. Remember the Festa Gypsy Wagon this year? It came back in worse condition than it left. And rapidly deteriorated throughout the season. Everytime I went by it I could find a new broken thing. I'm surprised the door didn't fall off sometime during the season.

I only fin it shocking that Miracles columns are in such disrepair considering they could very cheaply and effectively recreate them. I can understand a wagon being expensive to restore, but those columns look like nothing more than styrofoam.
