Possibility for a maze behind the RPT to replace Catacombs and free up space for a show? Either way, good find.

[split] Minor Changes

First off, the nice landscaping at the Festa Train station is gone. I did not get photos. This sucks. Why did they do this?

The side entrance to the Abby got a shrubbery reduction. I don't have a better before photo readily available. You can see from the leaves near the door on Preview Day before the CF signage was installed.

The Festa Train Station's flower bed was most likely removed to the dilemma of floral-relocation.

This dilemma that I've observed is when the park adds a new, usually large flower bed somewhere in the park, they occasionally remove another one. Because unlike our fan-mentality, which sometimes provokes idealistic thoughts, they cannot have flower bed space grow exponentially for the rest of time. Realistically, the amount of annual floral space can only grow logarithmically, in other words, it has a carrying-capacity because the park does not have unlimited resources. Now, on occasion, the carrying capacity may get bumped up, but not whenever the park wants it to. However, flower beds aren't just left vacant, they are replaced with shrubs, perennials, trees, or in the Train Station's case, sod.

The Festa Train Station's flower bed removal is most likely due to the addition of a larger flower bed at the entrance area this year, along with others beside Roman Rapids and in Da Vinci's Garden of Inventions, these additions surpass the floral space that the Train Station's bed used to carry.

The only thing removed next to the Abbey Stone's entrance was a Camellia bush, which was replaced with other shrubs. I believe they did it to expand the waiting room for the line that starts for shows there.

At least wait until you ride InvadR once.

Dude not even a new wooden coaster is going to prevent this protest cause the park staff it literally changing its entire landscape of the park to appeal to new clients. And that is not happening on our watch my friend

RE: Minor Changes

Jokes aside, I see the painting over of Italian graffiti in San Marco as a loss. It's the little details like the intricate graffiti that gave the area a sense of authenticity and antiquity. A blue wall just doesn't cut it for me.

I'm not calling anyone out here, but let's not mock others who care about these smaller details, and are saddened by their loss. For many, these little details are what make Busch Gardens so special in the first place.

The new canopies that cover the tram stations.  Main entrance and the Italy/Ireland station.  Didn't see any of these posted for those that were curious what they looked like.

RE: Minor Changes

I am glad that they finally have covers for people who use the trams. However, the color-scheme reminds me too much of 90's Nickelodeon colors. Maybe a darker green would look less like slime from an old TV show.

RE: Minor Changes

That's part of the problem. When they first started using the new logo, it was much like the shade shown above (the one that I associate with Nick green slime). More recently they have been using a darker green, sometimes blended with the color above. It's just a small nitpick, honestly.

RE: Minor Changes

Hessian, you weren't around at the time, but when the Busch parks rolled out the new logo, many of us were unhappy with such a bright "slime" green. I still think the neon-green color scheme feels a bit tacky compared to the old red theme.

If a single person or even a family only ever visits one park, why on earth should they be called "common" for not getting a Plat Pass?

And the arguably more elite Friends and Family Pass doesn't get free Preferred Parking either,
