As the merchandise leaders are aware demand is there, they’re trying to prevent selling them all in the same day. Because if they had them all they likely would’ve sold all of them and then now you have people coming later who can’t get them because some greedy person bought all their stock on day one. Also, usually stock is kept in a warehouse until it’s needed in the park, so it’s likely they’re just telling the warehouse to send over 30 each day
You only increase these problems with this strategy as then only a handful can buy up that days supply right away leave guests that come later in the day no opportunity to buy. Coming back it's a huge deal for me but for guests that aren't close saying oh we decided we only are selling 30 today come back is a deal breaker. Products are there to sell and guests are there to buy stuff there is zero reason in this day and age with plenty of inventory management programs out there not to be able to allow a guests to purchase and hold the item for later pickup instead of saying just keep coming back and hope you get lucky.

To add in, if it was going to be this popular, they should have done something like members only can buy for the first x-weeks or some type of online lottery to get one.I was going to DM someone to try to see if they would be willing to pick one up for me, but knowing this makes me not want to do that out of respect for people at the park who want one.

FWIW, SEAS parks do offer package pickup for most gift shops.

24 hours later and precious is mine. Also if you are looking for one GO ASAP as the guy said he thought that this was the last load at the Warehouse and assuming they are passing them out pretty much in sequence it's number 130 in the run.

I got 47 and 115 on Saturday so not sure about the in sequence part.

Well my lovely parents tried to surprise me by getting me a LNM keychain but apparently they’re all sold out. Not sure if it was just for today or in general, but that’s what they were told when they called.
My understanding was everything left in stock was moved to the park a couple of days ago and was available for sell. Sorry about your luck but there should be other items available at some point.

I really don't see why BGW didn't look at the success that other parks had had with similar sales and get a lot more produced.

I understand making the larger items limited edition, but I honestly don't think the keychain needed to be. They could have done another couple production runs of these keychains and sold through them easily. I've already talked to a handful of people who wanted them and couldn't get them and, honestly, I would have bought a second if they weren't so limited too. There's A LOT of demand for this stuff. Sucks that so few people are going to end up even having the opportunity to purchase any of it.

Yeah, with the plaques, I can see some value in the exclusivity. But for the keychains, I feel like 100% of the value comes from owning a piece of a legendary roller coaster. There’s always going to be some level of scarcity anyway — there’s only so much original track available to turn into a keychain — I don’t care if a bunch of other people have a bunch of other pieces. Why not turn as much of the old track into keychains as possible and sell them as super-cool souvenirs for years?

Really wish that the keychains were available online. I'm simply unable to drive the 6+ hours just for the chance to buy one. Would absolutely love one - I rode Nessie the year she opened and she was my daughters' first loop coaster. I still have a photo of our first ride together as a family in a magnet frame on my fridge.

Why the hell didn't they do this when the Wolf was torn down? I'm tempted to drive to Texas to the coaster museum and pull a wheel off the remaining train parts pile they have laying out back.
