You only increase these problems with this strategy as then only a handful can buy up that days supply right away leave guests that come later in the day no opportunity to buy. Coming back it's a huge deal for me but for guests that aren't close saying oh we decided we only are selling 30 today come back is a deal breaker. Products are there to sell and guests are there to buy stuff there is zero reason in this day and age with plenty of inventory management programs out there not to be able to allow a guests to purchase and hold the item for later pickup instead of saying just keep coming back and hope you get lucky. As the merchandise leaders are aware demand is there, they’re trying to prevent selling them all in the same day. Because if they had them all they likely would’ve sold all of them and then now you have people coming later who can’t get them because some greedy person bought all their stock on day one. Also, usually stock is kept in a warehouse until it’s needed in the park, so it’s likely they’re just telling the warehouse to send over 30 each day
