Would be nice if they offered them at most shops. I guess they want people bringing the Aldi bags from home? If I go to a grocery store to buy stuff then I can plan and bring my own bags but when I leave my house to go to Busch Gardens the last thing I am thinking is "oh let me get a shopping bag in case I happen to see something I want today". They are not so worried about the enviroment when they are lining the trash cans with 55 gallon plastic liners? Or how about all those ponchos that go in the trash at the end of a day at the park.

I think part of it is that you might buy one bag but you won't get a bag at every single shop you go to. Instead you will just put stuff in the same bag.

Someone might need to check if this is still true but when I worked there SEAS was paying extra to have all trash sorted for recyclables at BGW at least.

Yeah, BGW has worked with their trash disposal company so that they recycle 98% off all trash, i believe carl or kevin put that number out there once?

but yea it doesn't matter if you throw your recyclables in the trash at BGW, it still gets sorted.

Since Pins are on everybody's mind...I found this set (sold, unfortunately) from 2003.

This is a set of four enamel pins that was sold at Busch Gardens theme park in Williamsburg Virginia. They were purchased as a set in 2003 with the four coasters the park had at the time including the now defunct and much loved Big Bad Wolf.
Pins are: Big Bad Wolf Alpengeist Apollo's Chariot Loch Ness Monster The pins are all brand new in their original packaging.

I wonder what happens if people forget their package pick-up, I wonder if I've ever forgotten my package pick-up before, this is going to haunt me.

Nothing says BGW like "Beach Please," "Good Vibes," and "Beach Bum." ?

If tourists want their trashy beach merchandise, can we at least make them visit one of our beaches?
I think those 3 are only for WCUSA where they fit the theme a little better. The other 4 are the ones for BGW

So are the officially not using any plastic bags now?
The park has only had paper bags for a few years now.

Some things still had plastic...like charactures didnt they?

No idea about caricatures or any of other contracted stands but I believe they have all had to switch.

Did my monthly Ebay listing search and ran across this.

Think it's cool it features the Burgermeister and the original rising stage from the Festhaus.

There is another one listed as well.

I still have that Ireland lunch box... it holds my Gameboy games.
I think I also have another mini lunch box somewhere with cartoon mascots of Alpie, lochness Monster, Big Bad Wolf, Griffon, and Apollo’s Chariot. I’ll try to find it if I can.

So I remember a little bit ago someone showed off an old DarKastle operations shirt. Does anyone know how I might be able to get my hands on something like that? I know some people at my job that worked very closely with DK and would get a huge kick out of it.
