Since LR is near, I thought I'd put this preview swag up (thanks CK!!!). These small backpacks were handed out during the preview last year. BTW, the white BG logo has already peeled off the one we use. That's quality stuff right there.

The thing about the lanyard pins is that collectors want the kind that Kings Dominion. Every pin they released this year is fantastic. They are geared for pass members and die hard enthusiasts.
Personally, I have only purchased the BGW pins based on the rides. Some of them are too bulky and heavy. My favorites being the "WolfXing", the one with all the Coaster Logos together, the Loch Ness (though I wish it were smaller), and the old Busch Gardens logo pin.
Why they haven't made a new coaster tree logo, a DarKastle, Apollo's Chariot,and more "park enthusiast" pin I will never know. Generic pins do not sell well.
I think the major issue is that corporate must be making the decision on designs at BGW. They look as if they were designed to easily change a few things in order to mass produce them for all the parks instead of "exclusive" pins that collectors covet. Pity really. I am a major pin collector.
Anyway, here are some other cool merch items I have acquired:

Oooooo, a Le Scoot product. Now there is something I've never seen. Nor, much Threadneedle Faire stuff. Tré cool!
I actually did mention this much earlier elsewhere, but within the last year or two all products sold within the park used to be bought from suppliers by each park; however, corporate is now doing all the ordering for the products you see in the park. I believe the only thing the parks orders now that they sell are the light up toys and games prizes.

Technically, the 2014 Souvenir drink cup is the only cup that gets you $0.99 refills. That is not technically a souvenir drink cup, its a merchandise cup. To get $0.99 refills, team members have to scan the barcode. If they were to scan the barcode on the guitar cup (if there is any), the register won't recognize it and do nothing.
Are they gonna make "London Rocks!" bongs too?

Sorta merchandise.. my friend said his dad got this from Busch Gardens many years ago and he gave it to him as a moving box. He now uses it to store his fireworks which is how I now came across it at this time of year. I just like these sort of things for some strange reason.
