Undoubtedly. It’s 42 years old, certainly hasn’t been maintained properly, is heavily dependent on its terrain, and much like Superman at SFA, it’s on a scale never before relocated.

I'm happy to have experienced Dragon Mountain in all its janky glory 20-odd years ago. It was pretty wild to watch from the nearby pedestrian walkway as the trains hunted back and forth while rolling along a straightaway. Very evident onboard as well. But the ride was genuinely good fun and felt like taking a real "adventure." Rolling through the incomplete steel frame of a mini-Niagara Falls set was a great fit for the park's general vibe. The ride ops were absolutely on point that day, with one op in particular moving as quickly as I have ever seen on an older Arrow ride with the manual foot-pedal restraint release.
As much as I'd love to see Dragon Mountain ride live on somewhere, it would be truly shocking to see it relocated. I'd put the odds at "Premier Parks buying the entirety of Six Flags in 1998" level, which is to say it's the sort of thing that is completely impossible until someone makes the bad decision to make it happen.

The condor was in bad shape while the park was still operating and didn’t operate for the last few seasons.
I hope the Star Shape and Magic get saved somewhere in North America. The Star Shape is fairly new. The Magic is older but it was running the last few seasons. Both are amazing unique experiences.
The man made mountain and the long tunnels are what made Dragon Mountain a great ride instead of another mediocre Arrow looping coaster. That us unique to that location n

That valley floods frequently and the drainage system always comes into clutch. Have never seen it to that degree though.
let Marineland be demolished and replaced by a theme park that is not controversial and wanted to be in Canada (like disney or universal)

Thank goodness. Literally anything to get the belugas out of the current situation.

Mystic would be awesome for them. They take such good care of the family they have and are so educational about what they do. I’m pulling for them to add to the family. I can see Georgia being a good landing spot too due to the size of the tanks they have.
The last pitch was to export the entire pack to Chimelong, which was seen as a Chinese theme park that would continue using them for show. My gut is that they're going to let this one go through as even though the pack will be split up it's the best option on the table. Funding and indefinite care are no longer options, and Marineland's submission came with a warning that they had a plan in place to euthanize the animals if it wasn't approved by an unknown deadline. They're running out of money and the whales need to be gone before they can proceed with land sales.
As a local, if Marineland's last act before f**king off into the history books were to execute 32 whales, it would leave a VERY sour taste on everything and anyone associated with the park. Lose lose scenario for everybody.

Why wouldn't Cedar Point want the World's Largest Roller Coaster By Land Area? Just kill Rogarou, Iron Dragon and modify Millenium Force. This is a genius plan, I see nothing wrong here whatsoever.
