The "what" seems to be a massive version of Gale Force...? And the "where" seems to be at the Mango's Tropical Cafe in Orlando...?! If the video and concept art are to be believed, they're going to somehow fit it in the parking lot in front of the building...???

My measurements have it at like 25,000 square feet. That feels WILD but Gale Force is only like 14,000 or so... in other words... maybe...?

I don't think we have any info on the "when," but I definitely want to know the "how," too. Insane project.

I'll believe it when I see it-- until then it's all theoretical. This is the same company that was building the "Poler Coaster" on the opposite corner of I-Drive.

Odds are better with this one. A significant fraction of the cost of the previous project. The SkyPlex was a $500 million project lowered to $250 million in 2019. Then it went cold.

This may be the best bet as a replacement of that project. Still introducing some thrills across the street. The land the SkyPlex was planned for is still for sale and the price of that alone would be able to fund this project if the land sold. They were able to spend $54 million on that land alone, so they have the money to be able to construct this more than likely (just not the money for a hundred million dollar plus entertainment tower with a coaster).

As long as the cycle is good, that’s what I care about.

I have a hard time seeing that land sell, by the way. The corner may sell but the rest of the land borders Canada Ave, and anything other than condos would be a tough sell. This map shows some of the original plan but it's really ugly and borders Sand Lake Rd, which is known for all kinds of traffic problems (that hasn't stopped other developers from building around it, but this particular spot doesn't seem as nice).

Where this coaster is going... is very tiny. Guessing that neighboring businesses will complain about this - he owns the garages but the Golden Corral, Tokyo Restaurant, Choice Hotels, [the world's largest] Checkers, and International Bazaar Shops may have other ideas about a noisy drop tower and coaster on that block.
